Hi!

I'm a research assistant in Prof. David Penn's social cognition lab at UNC, coordinating a study assessing new measures of social cognition for individuals with schizophrenia. In Fall, 2012 I'll start doctoral work in the Clinical Psychology program at Fordham University. Interests include psychotherapy process and outcome (e.g. therapeutic alliance), psychiatric nosology and related theoretical issues (especially diagnostic heterogeneity and what the 'mental' is doing in 'mental illness'), phenomenology, empirically supported treatments (in particular their differential effectiveness or lack thereof), personality disorder, and spirituality as a resilience factor.
